The Factory @ Lim Tua Tow Road [CLOSED]

Sometime last week @ The Factory for an early dinner, before heading to River Hongbao!:

A really old-school interior. I love the hanging lights!:

Truffle Fries with Parmagiano Regiano (S$12.50) - tossed with truffle oil, truffle sea salt & shaved cheese. The truffle taste is strong enough, but a little unevenly mixed. You can choose to have skinny fries/thick fries or a mixture of both:

Polish Hot Dog with Summer Salsa (S$10.90) - a typical juicy grilled pork sausage with mayonnaise (ewwww) in a sesame bun (get a double dog at S$12.90). Comes with a side of fries and an artisan dip of your choice:

Spaghetti with minced chicken, chilli & lime (S$13.90) - tossed with lean chicken in a light zingy sauce with lots of aromatics. The pasta is nicely cooked and the chicken is really tender. I also love how the lime adds a whole new experience to the pasta, and it isn't too overpowering. Comes with fries and an artisan dip as well; here we have Sweet Onion & Bak Kwa dip which is really good:

We also had a Single Scoop (S$3.50) of Salted Caramel ice-cream in a Love-letter style cone (S$1.20), topped with Macerated brandied cherries (S$2.50). The ice-cream tastes so-so and I find it pretty ridiculous to pay S$2.50 for 4 miserable cherries, even though they are brandied. The rest of the toppings contain alcohol as well (e.g Rum & Raisin and Vodka-soaked cranberries):

The cherry slipped before I could take a proper shot, hence the dent. And the picture on the right was after I picked the cherry up and place it haphazardly on top haha:
